OK, one of my adjuster rings is seized to the strut. Ive tried everything except fire.
Big f**k off metal bar to get more torque on it, ive bent the C spanners as theyre too weak. I managed to get the ring to move about a CM.
Penetrating oil.
Hammer and Chisel.
My threads are okay (I think)...
Are you new to this silly game?
I strongly suggest you buy this kit, as im sure others will too. Great machine and good pad/polish combo too. Especially for clios. When you move onto harder paints, like BMW, then look into Megs 105 and other heavy cutting compounds.
203s/Power Finish is a mix...
Yeah theyre good. Tend to break up on the edges when using with a rotary I found, DA they are fine.
Green hex pad with Power finish 203s is a good one hit solution for my car if thats of any use.
Shame 3M dont make a waffle pad inbetween the yellow and Green one as those are my favorite to use.

Get some werkstat Prime Strong or some HD cleanse, or some Swissvax cleaner fluid, or some lime prime light, or some glaze, or whatever. Personally Id go with prime strong for your car as...
On white you couldnt tell the difference.
Clay it before you do it.
Apply with a foam applicator pad, do a pannel at a time. Keep testing the eax to see when its ready for removing.
Its not great stuff really but itll last you.
If you want to spend that much.
Dodo isnt long lasting either, id spend my money elsewhere. I seriously think people should stump up the extra and get something like Zymol Carbon, or Vics Red.
