Lol at giving the finger behind the dash so he couldn't see, and sounds like he said 'that was 100' up avon rise - my Clio standard would do 120 up there, so if thats a bigger engine thats a poorly one or he really wasn't trying
If cashflow is short mate, id leave the bushes/strut brace/top mounts - although they will make a difference it's not a 'oh my god night and day' type of difference
Glad to here its all sorted mate, if the connection goes dodgy again you're welcome to borrow my injectors and fuel rail for your track day as my clio isn't getting much use at the moment
Yeah but thats still the point im trying to make matey, affording the mod but not the insurance is half a job! It is a legal requirement - people winge about uninsured drivers - drive with a modification not declaired you are one of the uninsured drivers - you may be lucky and 'get away with it'...
Reecey - Im trying to see your logic but I just can't - What you are saying in plain text is a young person shouldn't declaire modifications because they can't afford the insurance hike - BUT you can afford to spend £1000 on a filter, exhaust and remap? See how your logic fails there at the first...
Bear in mind that generally all before/after readings are an approximate as even though that was done on the same rolling road before/after, so much can effect the power readings, from temperature, tyre pressure and wear, engine heat etc
