Im in malmesbury mate, if you get in trouble your welcome to limp it over and il look - i work in cirencester too - though id not recommend driving on two cylinders, if it gets better or cuts from two to four then i can look at it
Thats just it - if the CS was turbocharged from the factory, then there would be a huge amount of aftermarket parts to upgrade them - you have to remember that engine has been around for 22 years now, where as the F4R has been with us for 11 years, and only dabbled properly into forced induction...
lambda wouldnt make it run on 2 cylinders.
Go back to basics, if its getting fuel and air then its electrical - so start with plugs by putting the right ones in then go from there dude
Dont need writing, those who know dont need words ;)
looks nice mate, different than on the boot like usual - i had one on my dash - i should have bought more too lol
Do you know how much it costs to get a LET to a reliable 400bhp? ALOT
You can get a 1*2 to big bhp without too much £££ but it wont last long, like the Vaux
Plus as it is already turbocharged, it is easier to buy better parts - there isn't a huge market for turbocharged 1*2's
The reason why no one has any vids is all it is is a tube - so it will sound s**t, and loose you power - why do you think they are so cheap?
Take the advise and do not bother
Get rid of those plugs - its does require NGK PFR6e-10 only.
Id lay a bet that will be your problem, but it is also very easy to pinch a ht lead when re fitting the inlet manifold, so check them too.
Mine flashed the engine light when i had a plug go down
Whats the miles on the Willy Jamie, looks like 197k!
Stunning though mate, im properly jelous, i still keep looking at another one myself (hope your soing well btw)
It probably was up to temp, the sudden high rush of water caused by full throttle on the dyno probably blew some slightly colder coolant past the temp sensor, causing it to hit the cold limiter - it takes a fair while for the whole coolant system to reach a level temperature
Just wanted to say it was great to finally get a few more faces to names! :) was great to meet you all, Fletch, Boosh, Grey, Atouba + anyone iv forgot :)
