Stripping it out with some light buckets seats would be the next point of call for me! That will make a big difference and then if its still too slow do some more engine work!
Im my opinion, the best looking 197 around! Red with the splitters and the anthrasite wheels is the best combo going! Def recaros and that would be complete!
Still not keen on the front end, though I love the rear end of the car! In that grey colour is does make the front end look a little better, its not so in your face...
Sod the rest of these lot pal, I think they look good and comfy! Its perfect for the euro look your going for, if you can get the doorcards retrimmed in will look much better!
Personally I dont like the green on the Ph1, just doesnt really pull it off, though it would look good on a Ph2! The inferno i'd go for, dont normally like the colour myself but looks good on the Ph1!
Go for a Cup! And if you dont like the seats, change them to the leather ones, they only fetch around £100 for the front two! Mondial Blue though, theres no better colour when clean and in the sun!

This is going to be on my list soon with a decat as I spent ages trying to find the RS stanp on my Cup plenum. Hopefully there should be a great gain from them mods with what i already have!
Before anyone say I have used the search button serveral times with this search but still not found anything conclusive for what i need....
Well as my Turinis are away for a refurb and the tyres were getting near there markers, ive been on the look for a full set of new tyres. Pretty much i'm...
When I got my cup on 73k, I had it a week before mine started making funny noises. Got it to a gearbox specialist, paid for by the garage that sold it to me for them to say that the bearings had gone. Not sure what that meant but when I went to pick up the car, the bill for the garage was £900...
With reagrds to the MOT, as long as you have a booking you can drive to the MOT station without an MOT. But you do need insurance, not sure on the tax though.
Tbh there all pretty much the same, there's not much of a gain other than helping the airflow a little. Go for the cheaper one I say until you get an aftermarket airbox.
I have spent at least £1500 on mine in the 8 months of owning it, but I knew when I brought it that id be sorting all the stuff on it because of the mileage! Everythings almost done now so the ride is getting better. Still go out in it and it gives me a smile reagrdless of cost!
