Gutted, that vavler was mint. Make sure you buy it back off the insurance, the engine and other undamaged parts can be sold for a fair bit on forums/ebay.
Hope you find another mk1 and get it mint.
I drove about 50 miles on my red light the other day and only managed to get 43.65L of petrol in a 50L tank. So i had a good 50 miles left aswell. Normally circa 10L left when the light comes on.
+1 but i'm sure the valver will be up to that standard before long.
Same you couldnt sell the dynamique the way it was jord, would be nice to still see it around.
Somethings only expensive if you can't afford it imo. If it makes you happy go for it. If you love cars and driving then its a sensible thing to spend 2k on. Of course you should show around and haggle as much as possible.
Nice car, good call with the 1.4 aswell much better than the 1.2 imo. I'd get some nicer alloy not a fan of the < 04 alloys then get it on coilies. Clear side repeaters and silver visions.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
Well you said you like how you have to contantly work on it jord.
What are your plans now mate? sorting out looks etc or are you just making it more and more hardcore.
I wouldnt be bothered. There are only a certain amounts of mods you can do to a clio so you have to do something very different in order to have a completely individual car. I can think of several cars that are very similar on this forum. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so.
I'm not bothered about road tax tbh if you love driving and your tax goes up £100 a year (1*2 for example) its like 2 quid a week, you'd be stupid to sell your car over that, i mean will falling petrol prices your up on the deal anyway. But people not thinking like this is why 1*2's prices are...
