Could be worse it could be a 1.2, i'd swap cars with you anyday.
Nothing that can't be easily reversed. Alloys on ebay, get any of the following some turini's, standard alloys, pro race 1.2 ,oz supertourizo's. Ktec stealth and standard rear lights winner.
+1 i'm planning on being KY Jellyied by insuance next august when i'm 19 for a 182. I'm young living at home with a full time job so why not. I'll still have money for going out etc
Expect to use KY Jelly. At 19 it becomes much more reasonable. Wouldnt recommend fronting, I did it for a year then realised that i didnt want to be dependant on my dad to insure my car for years to come, wanted my own policy so i can build up my own ncb etc. Better to wait untill you can afford...
Not suprised your neighboors must hate you jord, constantly having cars in bits, makn g extremely loud custom exhausts etc.
Personally i'd love it if my neighboors did such interesting things, they're all boring.
Maybe he was just taking a pic of the car because its a rare car. Maybe he's planning to steal it or clone the plates, wouldnt be too worried for now though but just be aware.
You did the right thing getting his reg though.
I'm sure a lad on a scooter forum i was a member of had a mini on a classic policy. If you do have to be 21 then i'll just do it then, altho i think i'd need a garage tbh.
Buy a sport ;)
The best thing you can do to a 1.2 16v would be exhaust with decat. Strip it out get good tyres i.e. PE2's or F1's, coilies and some have had good results from the remap, which may suit if you get it decatted.
Personally though i would leave it and then sell it and get...
lol sounds like something i'd do i'm so clumbsey. Check your policy documents hopefully its covered. No worries if it is though you don't have to declare windscreen claims so won't affect your future policies atall.
Good news mate, you said you where enjoying the vectra when i spoke to you at the warrington meet the other day. Although you did say you missed the 172.
Glad you back behind the wheel of something you enjoy driving. Keeping the vectra aswell?
Gutted for you mate, hopefully you'll be able to sue him for criminal damage. Will you insurance not cover your side window under the windscreen thing or would a side window be a loss of NCB? the only thing good about directline is they're vandalism policy.
