This is brilliant!
I'd love to be able to do something like it at one point.
Only thing I'd change would be the front bumper for a facelift one, but that's personal preference I guess.
Keep it up!
Yeah - that sucks.
They should have just left the 800 standards out and released them as premium cars as DLC later.
But then it shouldn't have taken this long to make either...
My goodness! Mx5 look superb.
Shame it can't look like that all the time during gameplay etc really...
There's a fair few videos croping up on YouTube now, kind of wishing I had a PS3... Even just to try it!
The visuals are stunning.
The night time vid in the rain is very impressive; love how the cars disappear in the spray.
Still think it's going to feel pants, but i'd love to be proven wrong!
Would it maybe be a better idea to get a standard one first to get used to it Then consider turboing?
I can see myself ending up in a hedge or two... (definitely not in a good way either.)
Bah hell! Get through a few like?? lol
You're making them sound very appealing - can't bloody wait!
Yeahh, shame they didn't work out tbh; I just ran out of money and patience :( lol
Ummmm, I'm not actually sure - I did read on here that you only need washer jets etc when a car has xenons...
Lol!
The stuff I've done isn't exactly changing diff's/turbo's though!
But I guess there's only one way to learn...
Thank you for your words of wisdom - I've got someone to blame if I buy a bucket now! ;) haha
The red one was the one I saw on PistonHeads.
Are they all around the right price for their condition?
Bottom black one sounds like a bit of a money pit... Or would it be a case of new 'box & some underseal?
I'm just a bit weary of buying a cheapish one and it turning out costing me more than...
Centre bore for Vauxhalls is 57.1mm IIRC & Renault is 60.1mm - so you need to make them bigger.
Spigot Rings are placed inside the centre bore to make it smaller.
E.g. from 70mm to 60.1mm
That's my thinking - a nice base to start with.
I'm moving up from a 1.2, so anything is going to feel like a rocket ship in comparison!
And i found 1 on PistonHeads going for £3.5k with like 130,000 miles! :(
Know of any decent owners clubs etc?
