Read the original post you tool :clown: . She wanted advice on putting something over the chip to stop it rusting .
Did i mentioned anything about the dent ?? NO I DIDN'T . Use your eyes before you use your mouth in future .
It sounds like its just a small car parking dent . Lots of PDR...
If its gonna be a while before you have time to repair it, i'd just put a couple of layers of wax over the chip to seal it , keep out the moisture .
If you lacquer it , its gonna create work , removing the lacquer before you can attempt a repair , imo .
No problem . The key is building the paint up slowly , leaving to dry between coats , taking your time with the wet sanding , not to apply too much pressure , let the wet n dry do the work ( i put a tiny amount of fairy liquid in the water ) also make sure you strip off any wax / polish etc...
I had a bad stone chip on the wing mirror , car was only a couple of weeks old :(
Used the touch up paint , wet sanded (2000 grit ) then megs scratch X , 100 % better , if you look closely you can still see a tiny little imperfection .
Gonna give it another go when i get time .

If its right hand drive , and this is according to Renault UK , they are usually destined for the UK or Cyprus . But right hand drives can be purchased from Dutch dealerships were the warranty would only be 12 months .
Never heard of em havin different dials tho , maybe it's an aftermarket...
Sounds probable that its an import . How old is it ? With imports you still get 3 years warranty and AA assistance , just a simple phone call with your details and its done .

Is it the original Renault headunit , changer etc ....
If it is cheap its as cheap as chips . The cables usually cost more than the rest put together if you can get hold of em second hand , new from Renault about £85 just for the cable
Try your local motor factors for the pads . Mine as always been cheaper than anywhere else i've looks . Just seen greenstuff rear pads for £36.00 , or original ebc ( standard ) for £23.00 .
I'm pretty sure i've seen the greenstuff fronts for £45.OO , just can't remember where now ,lol ...
You could try the new ebc greenstuff pads for the front , keeps your wheels alot cleaner . The new versions are supposed to be good , i used the older versions on a Pug 306 , never had a problem with em , the front wheels where always miles cleaner than the back wheels as well , no problems with...

Nationwide autocentre are a bunch of f*ckin thievin muppets in Blackburn .
I'd ask to look at the parts , i'd bet they are their own brand ( Halfrauds ) .
