Its bad enough changin the indicator bulbs on a 182 , think you have to take the bumper off to change the side lights , impossibile to get your hands in :(
Thats weird ! Thye can't even get somethin' simple like the service books right , doesn't put much confidence in em does it . Did your try phoning some other local Renault dealerships and askin em what the service covered , air filter , cabin filter etc....
Heres a pic of my service book just...
According to my 182's service book . Its 24,000 miles or 2 years for the air filter , 12,000 miles or 2 years for the cabin filter .
Personally i would want the airfilter changing every 12,000 miles .
When i had my 172 serviced i filled up the screenwash to the top before i took it in . When...
I think the key to the touch up being a success is not to put too much paint on each time . Let it dry before the second , third coats etc.... build it up slowly so its slightly proud .
I wouldn't hold my breath on the quote for £500 next year if your paying £1300 now . I can't really see em droppin £800 .
They wouldn't even give me a quote on my old 172 last year . They said they have stopped insuring this model .
At the end of the day , without wishing to state the obvious , insurance is based on individual circumstances . i.e car , experience , post code etc ....
Pity there isn't a list of good competitive insurance companies on here that people could refer to when it comes time to renew . I always...
Had a ff 172 , now got a ff 182 . Prefer the looks of the 182 back end , twin exhaust . Traction control and esp in the 182 also , even though i think some of later 172's might have had traction/esp iirc .
I like the anthracite wheels better on the 182 with cup packs , suspension feels a little...
Mine sounds and looks exactly the same as the headunit in my old ff 172 except the 172 said tuner list on it the cabasse says update list :S
Plus i think the speakers are different in a cup to a ff , correct me if im wrong !
Yep , sure about it . Its says in the renault manual that if you have the R.A.I.D set to auto " in the event of an emergency it may be more difficult for those assisting you to gain access to your vehicle " .
You mean coming out of your hifi ?? You need RCA phono leads . If you have a video recorder connected to your tv then connect the leads to your video and to the aux connections on your hifi then when you select the AV channel on the video recorder for your ps2 , dvd player etc ...you will have...
I'd sell it over there mate and get a right hooker when you get back over here . Plenty available nearly new , still a few new ones knocking about if you search , plus the cost of shipping it over won't be cheap . You could use the money you save from not shippin it over to get a good , mint...
I didn't know it was the spark plugs at the time . It was struggling under 2500 revs , took it to the a local bosch certified garage who found the plugs were f*cked . Renault use NGK PFR6E-10 , about £10 a plug .
With ignition turned on press the door locking button for 5 seconds and you will hear a beep . When you set off the doors and boot will automatically lock when your speed reaches 4mph ( 6kmh ) and the red light on the button will illuminate .
To deactive R.A.I.D repeat the process ,hold in...
Renault says the plugs in a 172/182 are good for 72k miles . Mine lasted just over 30k miles in my old mk2 172 . No engine mods and always run on optimax from new .
If your pads are worn then change em . You'd have to get the car tested on the rollin road again to check if there is still brake imbalance, they might do it for free if you ask em nicely ;)
So if one caliper is working better than the other i.e pulling more efficiently you will have brake imbalance . If the piston is tight , or slightly seized in the caliper then it won't operate like a good caliper would .
I'd take the caliper off , leaving it connected to the brake hose , press...
Not in my case i tell thee . Was the caliper , pads were fine .Stripped down , greased , put back together , as good as new and no brake imbalance anymore ;)
Try using something else . I use Bit tornado , happy with speeds of between 100 and 200 :) obviously depending on seeds .
If your still gettin slow speeds then maybe your isp is puttin some kind of block on your downloads .
