I drive the GF's ph-2 172 and it feels so limp / boring in comparison to the PH-1.

back in the day' the me and the local lads from round here went on runs to Lady Bower, peak district etc. and we drove like true knob heads, over taking 2 - 3 cars, "racing" from point to point like rood boi's Now when I think back, it really does scare and shock me! Would never do it now...

Buy a PH-1 172? ;) Depending how good the engine is... The power output can differ quite considerably! 2.5" exhaust de-cat Matchled inlets catcams, C&B, Schrick etc. remap Should you you 190bhp + But alot of money, for not alot of gain :(

DO NOT have your harnesses attached to a strut brace... its weak, thin metal and is only attached with two M8 nuts!

I don't think you will like the steering set-up... not matter how much grease / lube you pack in your still trying to force something to operate in a way it was not designed to ;)

Black subframe ;) hmmm damn... that is annoying, I got quoted £25 - £30 to do the subframe by my local coaters?!

Whip the subframe off and get that powder coated ;) Looks really clean / fresh.. top work sir!

if it is that, pop out the passenger side drive shaft and you should be able to see straight away if it is that!

full clutch kit Clutch cable, if needed gearbox oil (obviously ;)) use the correct grade 75w80 GL5 synthetic gearbox mounts.. if they need changing a good time to do them! quite a few 172's I have seen sometimes have seeping / leaking sump gaskets and crank seal... these are also easy to do...
