use the blade of the key in a door and open the car, alarm would go off if fitted. Also, if an alarm is fitted you will probably have an additional red flashing light in the interior of the car (seperate from the one on the dials)
i have 17s" and Eibach Pro Springs on my 172 mk2 at the moment, the ride and handling is pretty gash because of the 17"s, can anyone tell me if the coilover would make any difference to the ride quality? Because it truely is quite shocking?
shift light is in right hand corner of the dials, and trip computer doesnt flash automatically, its selected on the end of the right stalk, various modes etc.
IMO (In My Opinion), what you need to do is, check whether the light units themselfs are Xenons or not. This will help you determine whether the car originally came with the washer jets or not. Hopefully someone can post a pic of what the different lights look like, as I dont have any.
the gear shift light on the mk2 is in the right hand corner of the dial set, it is green and displays GAZ/GAS (or something?) when in use or when ignition lights are powered up.
all std 172s (not cups) should have Xenon lights, if the washer jets have been removed at any point the car WILL...
