i think its pants, at the pace the rpm is building up, by the time you hit the light you already need to be changing gear or you hit the limiter anyway!

i hope not, because i noticed Renault didnt bother to put that cap back after the last service and my 172 doesnt run with one! Hope thats not a problem, anyone??
i recognise the plate of it, i would be a bit careful, because it could have been used for mag features etc, I am sure I have seen it in magazines, so chances are it is going to have been driven hard (tried and tested) if you know what I mean.
i totally agree, at the moment whilst i am working in Manchester I am using the GFs 1.5dci 65bhp, and only using my 172 as a weekend car, i find the dci a nicer car to drive, and the only thing it lacks, is the looks & toys & oooommppphhh that the 172 has.
i had my old 1.2 mk2 lowered 60mm on 17s and it f**ked the ball joints and driveshaft, will try and get some pics of the car up tomorrow, looked wickid though!
yep had this before, just a case of having to put it back in place and start from scratch, it can be very annoying, just a case of trial and error to manouvre it off.
about £140 from Renault. I got one for £85 off here, others get them as low as around £60, probably better off waiting on here until one comes up for sale.
yep, my car is the same at the moment, it is getting washed regularly, but isnt getting used much, has become just a weekend car at the moment, so its judging the rpm to get off the discs without covering the next door neighbours house in gravel lol!!
