As per our phone call, on your recommendation :o
Before:
And after:
Gotta love a Yozza :D
Seriously, I know iv always heard that a Yozza is the best to get, but I honestly didnt realise how good these are, it took me literally 2 mins to fit, no...
Update:
I have finally got round to getting my mate to sort out all the little scratches and marks out on the Clio, including the big marks/scrapes on my rear bumper from the recovery lorry driving into it at the beginning on the year.
No pics yet as the Clio needs a good wash but will...
no mate, that stud threads through that mount and through the box mounting thats attached to the box, you dont need anything re-drilled just that stud replaced with 2 new nuts.
The box should have dropped slightly as the stud isa major part of the support, dont move it untill its fixed
looks like the stud has sheared off, that should have a flat piece in the middle to hook a spanner on iirc, looks like its sheared around there, you will need a new stud with two new nuts, not expensive just a bit fiddly to do. I wouldnt drive it till its fixed.
your box is fine dont worry.
Rofl at people talking about the price he paid. (No offence guys)
So what if he paid £1 for it? As long as you buy it for a decent price thats all that matter, I purchased a car off a friend for £1200 that he got given free, it was worth near 2k, so i got a good deal, and am i miffed? Nope
That is your idle control valve, it is what makes your car idle - is it fitted correctly? It sounds like you have an air leak.
Or your throttle body is sticking slightly open
