Custom rear anti roll bar fitted :) (That one is prototype)
So far very good results, better turn in, feels like front end grip is better and back feels more controllable so all in all very good :)
For reference, my old willy engined mk1 16v had an exhaust, filter and chip, and ran 0-60 in 5.22 timed at York, and I ran it down the Pod doing 14.0 @ 100mph about a million times lol
I think my Clio now is about as punchy, but I needed ITB's to do it, and I know I wont ever get it to 60 as...
Im with Fred on this one, after doing many miles in mine, then experiencing a 172 with one on imo not worth it, it does change the power delivery, but not enough of a change to warrant it
IMO of course
Its not completely accurate mate, but you attach it to your windscreen, and it tells you how to set it level, and it works it out by some kind of magic lol
Used it at Pod a few years ago and it was 0.2 secs out, so its not bad :)
Best 0-60 time with the car fairly standard was 6.58, with an average of 6.8 in the dry.
I only had time for 2 runs, and it was wet too so I was very chuffed with:
Suffice to say getting that quick a time in the wet, im confident il be in the 5's with a decent launch...
Dont worry about it mate, be happy to have it back.
The way i see it is the previous owner of the car could have let a mate out in it every day abusing it, you buying it would have no idea how its been treated, so in reality a few days of being driven round wouldnt have caused any damage.
I...
Iv always used F1's, but they are getting hard to get hold of, I used to be able to buy them for £34 a piece, now the cheapest I can get them is £50 each :(
So im considering what to use next, Iv tried T1R's are was not impressed, so im in the same situation Dave.
If it was hanging any lower, then i think it would look bodged, it looks better in the flesh as it were.
Its the road system, I still need to get under track noise levels
Iv just got a Yozza and cant recommend it enough.
After years of messing around with other aftermarket exhausts I wish I had just bought one in the 1st place.
Well i popped down my Parents yesterday and Dad said he heard me start up and drive all the way down and he lives about 1/4 miles from me lol.
Its easily bearable atm, im just stunned at the build quality and easy fit
See im running a pair of T1R's, that iv now swapped to the back, as they were not very good! gave little feedback, and grip was ok, but just felt like they were falling over them selfs under cornering, no matter what i did with tyre pressures.
What about something like Yoko Paradas? Bloody...
