Looks great mate, the wheels really compliment the car. I love the ph2's on 15's with a 50 profile, I think it gives them a much more purposeful stance/look.
I butchered them off with a big pair of snips an used a nut, bolt an washer arangment now. There exposed to all the road grime so corrode fairly quickly
Looks promising, the b18ft is a decent old lump an can produce good power. I've worked on a few in the 480 guise, plus me cousin had one in the rear of his renault 5 turbo featured in pfc a few years ago
Right I've got a 182 trophy an the seat belts are looking tired so I'm looking into fitting some harnesses. Now I know where I'm going to mount the rear strap after looking at a few motors on here but where do the mount the lap straps?
Any help much appriciated
Dan
Mines got a janspeed cat back with middle silencer an to be honest it gives a nice tone but isn't much louder then standard if at all. Plus its a dream at 70-80mph which is where my old 172 with its oreca grp N used to annoy me the most.
I can imagine it becoming very annoying after a while, not my cup of tea if I'm honest but each to there own. Can't imagine it being much good for the exhaust?
Re: AndyRG - Opps ive done it again!
Looks great andy, where did you paint it? Finish looks good from the photo's, fairplay. Looking forward to seeing more progress, keep it up.
Shame really tbh, these seem a really good product an seem to be getting decent results. Plus if you got a ph2 you can keep things like the cruise control which is nice on long journeys.
Some sort of idiot?
Eibach springs are some of the best available, renault fit them as standard to the trophy. (plus why to many other manufactures provide eibachs as an extra? i.e ford)
With a good set of dampers they will provide a better ride an tighten the handling a little which is ideal...
Well I've not long just got rid of mine an gone back to a 1*2 (trophy to be precise). Well cracking car, alot more refined than the 1*2's but the mpg is crap, most I saw was 35mpg an that was doin 56mph up the m1 which is naff, where I reguarly see 40+mpg in my 182. Don't feel as raw as the...
There's no point, doubt there will be any gains. Read here somewhere that standard ones are good Upto 210 bhp so you will be wasting your time an money mate.
Awesome sounds like good plans.
Take it the m50 manifold an Thottle bodie are off the 325? What sort of gains will you obtain but doing that? An what's the difference between the manifolds?
