Strength wise I have noticed alot of the boost guys running clio dci boxes as they can handle the torque better I imagine with them designed for the diesels. Theres alot of talk about the scoff "vag box" conversion but I don't see it being a cheap job but if you want that extra reliability an...
I pretty sure theres clearence issues with the megane box in the 1*2's due to them being a 6 speed. As for management I'm not sure I know ktec with there 197 used a gen90, I'm sure someone more knowlegeable will be along to answer that one soon ;)
I'd personally go down the Megane route too, it seems to being getting the results an less problematic to live with but don't quote me on that. From what I've on Lewis's thread the gearbox bolt pattern needs altering on the Megane block to accept the Clio box, the manifold needs to be...
Simple fit from looking at that. The mini cat screws into the post cat lamba sensor whole an then the sensor screws into the mini cat. Simple as that really. Tbh when I decatted mine I just ran it with the post cat sensor unplugged. No lights on dash an no stored faults according to clip.
I'm a trophy owner myself this is me third cliosport (ph2 172, 197 before hand), all in all I love it, the recaro's are a nice change an I consider an improvement over standard seats an the handlings awesome. The main reason I brought one was I'd hope it holds it value a little better an I've...
Not sure but I'm sure google will tell you, I like a quick car but I don't spend too much time looking at 0-60 times as I prefer to concentrate on the drivability and handling which is in my opinion what clio sports are all about. Point an shoot handling an just enough power to give other...
Looks quite good, I'm toying with replacing the naff wheel in my trophy for a 197 wheel cause thats one thing I do miss from my 197. If only I could read french
I have just got rid of my 197 an replaced it with a 182 trophy, originally had a ph2 172 before the 197. The 197 was a cracking car no doubt about it, felt planted in terms of handling brakes weren't as good as expected until I replaced the brembo pads for ferodo ds2500 which made it awesome...
Re: Boosted BlackGold Project - F4rT content.
Sweet, what sort of manifold adjustments need making or is it a case of fabricating a new one from scratch?
We stayed in the dorint hotel not weekend just gone but weekend before, it is on the gp circuit an part of the complex. Paid 170 each b+b also has pool an garage an bar on site.
Re: Boosted BlackGold Project - F4rT content.
Cool, do you know how much work is involved when it comes to altering the block (which I take it is so the gearbox mounts up)
Looking forward to the pics buddy :)
Re: Boosted BlackGold Project - F4rT content.
