Since fitting my re-built gearbox I cannot get my upper gearbox mount any tighter than the above image, where as before I defiantly had "more" of the stud poking out.

Reprofiled Clio 172 / 182 Cams
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – RENAULT SPORT CLIO 172 & 182 OWNERS
Cat Cams would like to make Renault...
Built on a drive just big enough for a Clio iirc... And the cylinders bored out by a man in a van with a drill, then cleaned with a garden hose pipe LOl!!
Carbon bonnet... Big spender! ;)
Looks a neat set-up, I can never help but think the aircon set up spolis the "look" of ITB's.
Get that rocker cover cleaned up and painted, will look ultimatly better :)
It sounds very similar to Gray-Motorsport...
apart from my various years of experience and qualifications in motor-sport, engineering, bastardising, rig-up's, Bodge work etc. etc. :rasp: LOL
Going to change the sump gasket aswell.. see how "fun" that will be! more than likely tomorrow morning it will be done
working until 6pm.. then out for a few drinks, one my my friends is moving "daaaaaaaawwwwnn saaaaaaaath" to London
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
LOL... if your stuck I know a man ;)
but you will have to roll up to jct28 of the M1
I was going to do it yesterday evening... until I noticed the release bearing clips where snapped!
So purchased one from Renault this morning, looks to be an updated and ALOT stronger component?!
Win :)
