ok looks like some renault muppet (surprise, surprise) has forgotten to stamp my service book as there is no dealer stamp anywhere, what happens now??

so i need to wait for my V5 Document first then (anything up to 5 weeks), ive seenmy chasis number on the servicing/warranty book (on the back page), but i dont recall seeing a dealer stamp anywhere, where in/on the book should it be?

i know this has been asked before, but can someone PLEASE clearly state what i need to do? I asked the sales guy at Motorpoint what warranty i would get and he said about 12 months, then another guy said 23/24 months when i picked the car up, so clearly they have no idea what it is. Ive been...

i had to resist in my 172 the other day too, running it in, only done about 300 miles in it, and this n*b thought he pissed all over me in his 2.2 astra estate.

yeh my trip computer is still not working so i have no idea what MPG i am getting, but it doesnt seem too bad for a 172bhp 2.0L.

sounds like what i am doing too Mike, how many miles on yours? I tend to keep to 3500/4000 on average, and then give it a bit of a push but stay below 5000. 572 Miles so far. Gaz

absolutely Mike! thats what i like about it the best! It p*sses over everything on the road and doesnt even look, feel or sound like it is trying. Its a classy motor, but i seem to be filling it up very often!

Done 569 Miles in it now, took it out early this morning pushed it up to 5000 rpm, and was doing just over 70 mph in no time! Very, very impressed and very happy. This is most definately the best car i have ever owned and will take some beating!, give it a bloody good clean (as a bit of a...

Currently running in the engine on my new Mk2 172, done approx 540 miles on it, but i cant help but notice that after a good drive when sitting on the driveway the car seems to get a lot of vibration from the engine, is this normal or should i be a bit worried about it? (like i am). Cheers...

Has anyone had this seen to yet? Mine is going into Renault tommorow and it would be handy if i knew what the solution is so i can tell them in advance before they start taking half the car apart to find the problem. Thanks, Gaz 2130

done 285 miles in it now (two days) but it is going into Renault all day tommorow to get the trip computer sorted, and the drivers window sorted out as it is making a loud clicking noise and shifting slightly when going up or down. Got back in from work and was sitting on the driveway with the...

when does it kick in then? Do you have to be flying around the 7000/8000 rpm mark?
