For clarity. Replace the Dephaser. Belts and tensioners aren't negotiable either. Waterpump is upto you. I'd replace it. But that's because I like to do a job properly.

Exactly this. Mine being one of those. Mine has a 182 engine, and not a 172. Get the other issues resolved by a decent independant and I wouldn't worry too much about the engine.

I agree on more than one factor, and I'm the first to admit, I'm hard on the brakes. :smile: I wouldn't say I have bad braking etiquette / style, I just try to hold as much speed into the corner as possible, meaning the brakes work quite hard. I am carrying more weight though :)

Pug 406 v6 MC didn't fit with mine for some reason. How did you get yours to mate Alex? I tried with my recent brake upgrade. Unless it was the MC that was wrong... @Ricardos - my brakes being on fire at Oulton seems to go against your assertions 4 pots are overkill :wink:
