Lol yeah they are on the list mate, i was supprised to see they held on so much, up and over 6k and still holding on fine, bear in mind though, it being a V6 one turbo is only having to feed 3 cylinders and 1500cc lol
Stick it in gear and try to rock it and see if it turns over mate, if its siezed it wont let you move it ( remember you gotta give it a good push to get it moving)
Passed :)
Thats 3 Mot's in my ownership and 3 passes :)
Few advisories though, airbag light on (Due to me not getting a resistor)
Rear discs pretty shot (But i knew this anyway)
Its good i get it MOT'd at work as i get a good look over the car (though im working on it most weekends at...
Its soooo much fun, it boosts really low and the operator was suprised how hard and long the turbo's kept boosting, bearing in mind they only baby T2's, just rebuilt.
Hi mate, do a search as you will find loads of threads same as this, but the basics are:
The cup doesn't have xenon lights, leather, air con, abs, less sound proofing, but it is 89kg's lighter and has a wider track, so a more 'raw' driving experience the cup is better but for the 40 mile round...
Latest update:
Well after passing it's MOT, and being taxed and insured, it took a trip to the rollers yesterday!
Now my RR guy has all his data logging equipment away, so he could only have a basic play with the timimg, boost and fuel pressure's, and it only had about 1 1/2 hour on the...
thats why i said you have to feather the throttle mate, to aviod spinning, it takes alot of practice, but launching at higher revs is the key, when you launch at 3k your constantly fighting against the motor trying to bog down, and also the wheels loosing a tiny bit of grip is ok, just not a...
you cant just rev the nuts off and floor it, you have to launch at fairly high revs and feather the throttle to get the right medium between spinning and grip
Check out dyno printout for the focus, i think its pretty well described by the writing on the print out ( check out the name in the middle of the sheet lol)
just take weight out mate, the tyres will be good, but wont be worn in so you wont be getting the best out of them, the inlets would be good, but it wont make a huge difference
Lol no fella, you can drive 'most' cars without the clutch (if the box is good) by matching the revs, and not mashing syncro's when you change,(going up the box usually is fine if you get the revs up to say about 3500 rpm and gently put pressure on the stick to move to the next gear as you let...
The box you require is the early Espace, which is the same as the ph1 clio box, just with one larger inlet as supposed to the clio's 2 smaller one.
It wont offer much change as it is basically the same as the ph2 box
Unlucky really fella, few people make this mistake.
