Lol no probs matey :)
Its been so long sinse iv driven it, and its fantastic, took it very easy, due to it not being on the road for 2 years, but got it on boost a few times and its a right animal!
Here is a very short speedo vid, this is unmapped, and at approx 7psi, and also it was only to...
Fantastic looking cars, looks fresh even today, but i still prefere the clio, the 306 has a much better driving position, but ultimately i prefere the way the Clio drives and handles, hence why i own the Clio not a 306
The dephaser wont always sound like that, they vary in wear and can be hardly noticable through to that one which was quite bad.
the cam wont 'go' as it wouldn't run
Iv made a guide which i think will solve all ph1 sticking throttle issues, there have been many tries and fixing this, and iv put alot of thought into what could be causing it, and thanks to spare t/body iv got iv been able to try a few things out. iv covereed 500 miles now and mine is still spot...
If your serious about the business, then that is what you should be 100% looking at mate, there isn't exactly a shortage of either, id sell both, by a 172 for circa 3k, and then you will have 12k or so for the business, once you have got everything up and running then look at a better car
Would be a good idea mate, just to spread the word as it was :)
Out of interest how much is a remap?
And back on subject what do you prefere, im guessing SC? lol
Fair enough fella, why don't you get hold of PFC and get a feature write up on remapping stock ecu's? That would give alot more info to alot of people, il admit before i saw your posts on here i never realised that it could be done, and now i know it can i will be having that done over fitting...
Taking out all the bickering ( that wasn't intednded at anyone, just in general) i think its brilliant that you can do that fella, i mean given the fact how far you pushed it before it let go, that what it will be like once you have finished ( as im asuming its not going back to a standard spec...
Might not be gasket fella, could have been a split water pipe and it was steam on the exhaust (had that happen to me a few years ago) so fingers crossed for ya
Its probably the lock itself fella, my other halfs 182 does it from time to time, a good slam of the door fixes it, and its not done it in months now, see the answer is always slamming a door lol
I always user super, mainly because imo its better for the car, and it ends up making about a £1 or so difference between tankfulls anyway so its not exactly saving me any money! Id rather pay an extra quid or so and know my cars getting the better fuel, we spens £££££ on better air filters...
also the sound will change once its got a few miles under it
What exhaust have you got to want it louder mate?
I have a bluflame system and thats 92db and i still have my cat in!
I can't see it being the key fob battery, as it simply sends a signal to unlock the door, if it unlocks the o/s and boot then the signal is getting through, the signal doesn't tell the car what to open
Id say its door lock fault, next time it doesn't work give the door a whack by where the...

Not had much luck with DT lately, and can take upto a month for delivery, need it a bit faster than that, any ideas?

While doing some bits on the car, i noticed one of my standard CAF pipes had kinked over, and had blocked any airflow getting through the pipe though it doesn't look to bad here it was kinked right over
So for anyone out there with std feeds, have a check just in case
