@Hawk182 used a rotory polisher and some compound that I can't remember the name of to do his headlights without sanding, they came out really well.
Tom, what was the compound?
I'd love to see what the extra weight and torque does to the handling.
I bet it'd be hilarious.
"Come on! Turn in! Lift off just a bi- Fuuuuck, opposite lock, opposite lock!!!"
Top tip!
If using Velcro coins, put the soft Velcro on the car and the harsh hooky bit on the number plate
Otherwise you'll have it eating your microfibres and wash mitts when you clean it
Regarding the smart motorways, I genuinely don't see why there's not just a big ass sign saying 'keep left unless overtaking'
If they really wanted to make smart motorways, they'd have a system to monitor the lanes*, see which dick head is causing the congestion, put a big red X over their lane...
To argue against them not being sneaky, on my old commute going through a built up area where people used to do 40, there used to be a copper who would park his car way down a side street at the top of a hill and literally jump out from around a corner when he saw a car come. c**t.
Another one...
That was a petty comment to be honest. There's nothing stopping regular Joe from pointing a camera at someone.
I was just looking for any excuse to bash camera vans because I genuinely despise them, so I went with "impersonating a police officer".
Oh no, I understand that speed limits apply everywhere, I should've elaborated on how it's the placement of the cameras is what I don't agree on.
Putting them in daft places to catch people out purely to catch a lot of people and generate the most fines.
The places that could do with cameras...
The other day when I was in Wales, I came off a roundabout, going downhill on a ruralish road with a slight bend in it... So easy to let your speed get away from you if you're not diligent.
It was getting dark and the road was very quiet. Hey ho, mobile piggy bank at the bottom of the hill...
You are Scottish though. If I'm ever up there I dare not fondle the speed limit for fear of setting off one of the cameras
Cameras are to Scotland what sheep are to wales. It's mental
Yup. People around here love merging onto motorways at 50/60, some c***s even do it at 40 Ffs! Then they'll crack on being a hinderance for the next few miles until they get beeped or flashed out of the way. But these c***s don't get any fines or bollockings for being a massive...
Did lol at the first one.
North wales camera vans are proper c***s.
And as much as I hate the bellends who make these 'I'm clever for recording the police' videos, I hate the mobile cameras more so, top work lads.
I can't believe they're not police officers too! That should not be allowed...
Yup, took it for a drive last night and it didn't blow up, so fingers crossed.
The brakes still feel a bit spongey and the handbrake needs adjusting but that's easily sorted.
I had my vehicle folder today and didn't realise how many receipts I've collected for it!
I'm going to need to make a new folder for all the paperwork, I had it serviced by an Independant garage the first few years of ownership before I got into doing it myself.
Now I keep receipts and update...
The thing is it didn't even go pop on a hot lap. I was pootling around for a lap waiting for the m3 to catch up then it went a few corners later after the m3 went in.
Ah well lol
My Senna impression needs work it seems
Since the engine wouldn't start I had no steering or brakes, as I found out, the ignition doesn't stay on indefinitely like on cars with keys.
I got it around Druids ok but when it me to lodge, the truck went right, I went straight, he stopped, I ran...
Not much of an update but after a breakdown at oulton on the 26th of last month, the car has been in a sorry state.
The car lost all power coming over hill top throwing up 'injection fault'
An accident when getting towed off the track saw me facing the wrong way at lodge with the tow rope...
Cheers, I took my old brackets to work, beat the s**t out of them to get the old lines out, opened the holder bits a bit and cable tied my new lines into them. Job jobbed lol
... For if anyone is curious to how to fit them lol
