Ah, try the crank sensor then. It's worth a check for how easy it is to get to.
I'm kicking myself that it was such a simple fix that I didn't check when my car first broke
I don't get the whole thing lol.
Why is he speaking b****cks about a portable chimney?
Why is he making up bullshit about a made up car?
Why is he pretending to be old enough to take a driving test?
I'm officially old it seems. f**king yoof!
Cheers both!
Thanks Marc but they look too short. I want them to mount like oem, like the hel ones do:
... I found out that the hel ones are the correct length after posting this
Does anyone know what aftermarket lines are the closest to OEM fitment, I.e. Going around the damper, mounting on the hub and fitting to the calliper.
I like the look of these but I can't see a length to them.

That's brilliant news.
I'll keep an eye on it and if it happens again I'll look into getting it apart :(
Single mass flywheel and lsd while I'm at it lol?
I found this which sounds quite similar to what happened to me, high rpm, oil on the casing and fucked sensor

I think it'll be a box off job :(
I don't know, I had it turned it over while looking at the flywheel and it didn't look to be running off centre at all.
I'll try the new sensor tomorrow and see what happens
Any idea how this could've popped off on top of the undertray?
Did not expect that
Also, there seemed to be oil on the casing, hopefully it's just the remnants of its last oil change, I couldn't see a leak or anything
Brilliant lol.
It's not, I didn't want to fit the new sensor in case that one got eaten too. That'll be a box off job to check to check what flew off then :(
I'm going to try and turn it over by hand to see if the fly wheel is fucked if I can
Right, got round to changing the crank sensor tonight after having it diagnosed as such.
When I popped the undertray off a wire fell on me, weird. It turns out it was the wire that plugs into the crank sensor. Brilliant I thought.
Plugged that back in, turned the ignition on to let the car...
Are the standard pedals no good for heel and toe? I've only had one experience in a mk2 driving it half properly and I don't remember having any trouble with pedal spacing.

Crap picture and wrong car but the 'squarer' 225 section fronts fill the arches better and give it a much better look than the 215 section rears with a bit of stretch and more arch gap.
Both are 45 profile.
