Do you leave the handbrake on when you park it for a long time?
I don't mean to sound condescending but surface corrosion is unavoidable, the uneven braking/bonding will be caused by something else
As people said, the 172,182,197,200 etc are all lab tested engines and the PS... Whatever that is, so the 197PS is 194bhp.
But being naturally aspirated, and French, you'll rarely see book power.
Likewise, the turbocharged meganes, 250,265,275 etc usually make over book power when dynoed...
That seems suspiciously high.
Standard, These usually make between 180-185bhp and torque should be 150ish.
Is it cammed?
Obviously you can expect the odd strong engine but still Thatd be around 192bhp
Wait saving.
That is, you're not waiting as long for the car to get up to speed because you've saved some weight.
Honestly though, the genuine answer is because race car. They're smaller than the standard mk2 item, which people prefer.
I prefer OEM though so I wouldn't change for a smaller one

I've heard of brand new ns2rs being shredded through the canvas in a day, and of them lasting for quite a while.
As I'm not competitive and aiming to just learn to use the car correctly on...
When people here are saying X is better than Y, what are your applications? That is, competition, hill climbs, etc etc or general track use?
Of course the r888 is going to be better at finding extra time and grip when you're competing and you need the best, but they also come at a cost.

This what the guy told me when I was buying mine. Direct from wera, not a secondary reseller.
And a guy at work snapped a 12mm Allen key by Twatting it with a hammer in a chuck, rang up and the lady sent a new one out no questions asked.
If think carefully coating them with something like c5 (I think that's the gtechnique glass treatment) then keeping on top of them with a citrus pre wash will be best for you.
Get them treated with something long lasting and hydrophobic. Then clean them with a contactless wash. (Citrus power...
As if work bought you that!
I managed to nab one of those off eBay for £75 iirc. It's epic tbh.
And if you don't know, Wera offer a warrenty on all of their tools, you don't need a receipt, just ring up, say the tool is broke and they'll send you out a new one.
I've got this for at home

It's £79iirc from our Costco.
It looks to be on par with or better than the halfords pro range after a quick look at both.
If you want to ball so hard, check Wera...
I wonder how they operate around flight paths. People get bollocked for firing laser pens at the sky at night for fear of blinding pilots.
That's not even considering the space ships which will be crashing left right and centre due to having their retinas burnt.
