Renault are very hit and miss with their options.
Some special cars get the nicer seats as standard, some you need to spec them.
I don't know why recaros weren't fitted to these in the first place
No good!
I've not heard of problems of that magnitude in a while!
Fingers crossed someone comes to the rescue.
Failing anything else, take it to Renault and tell them to diagnose their car.
@TimR26
I found the auto finesse stuff wasn't up to the likes of ironx and tardis (apparently tar X is meant to be epic too)
I'd invest in some of that, if it's really stubborn, get the iron X paste which sticks and dwells for longer.
For the tar, saturate a paper towel in tardis or tar X and...
It does say it's just arrived and being prepped.
Maybe hey just used a nice example pic and will be following up with detailed pics of their car?
If they do just leave that one noisy picture up for the duration, then shame on them
The marshals at oulton were OK with a 3m adhesive pad on my dash this year.
Although that was msv and not javelin.
Rule of thumb is secure them properly, I.e 'or sticky pads or suction cups and you'll definitely be fine
From what I've read (I need new rear discs and pads) mintex are fine on the road but s**t bricks after a lap of a track.
I'm swaying towards them for the rear as they're cheap and the rears do f**k all anyway.
I'm thinking save £40/60 on the rears and put it towards better pads up front.
Iirc, the course is a morning of condescension followed by supplied dinner and drinks, followed by an afternoon of monitored driving.
Still a massive waste of £170 but better than points.
Are you talking about plastidip spray or a clear stone chip protection vinyl?
If it's plastidip, do as you say. Mask, spray, peel when wet to get a clean edge
