sounds like alternator can't handle the strain.. and although its working.. its not increasing output to the amount you require... if its under warranty then back to renault. and if not a lot of places will do alternator checks cheaply or free if you agree to buy the replacement from them/get it...
sounds like this could be the case.... if the oil pump has failed. for me the best bet is to get another valver engine and put a new cam belt in it (for peace of mind if nothing else) and fit it in the car. Get an engine hoist off ebay and some basic tools and with some mechanical knowledge its...
is there not a lower collar to screw off and reveal a grub screw... on my richbrook one the hole is plain to see on the back there is a grub screw inside.
106 rallye or GTI.... wouldn't bother with the 205 if its to be your daily drive.. Wouldn't bother with the zetec S. Maybe if you don't like 106's a clio mk1 valver/williams
Pointless. like i said im keeping the power stock... No point in putting a new engine in until something major happens to this one.. im on some form of budget remember. There is plenty of fun to have with the valver lump im concentrating on getting the handling up to scratch

yeh like i say not my taste in music but suits the video nicely... i like to be open minded about this... not m personal 'in car' choice but think the tracks suit the video well.
Ive got a private area to test the car belongs to scottish power and has some great corners.. used to be used as part of a local rally stage but is smooth tarmac. and with regards to the trailer etc its no problem as my mates dad will want the race van down there anyway so no trouble with using...
Certainly looks dull.... Whoever had my valver before me seems that they did a decent job of arch repair then painted them with a slingshot... oh and i think they put sawdust in the paint :P the above are 20 times better than mine ;)
