I take it, it is working now? I have horrible problems with USB dongles + vista (any brand), just can't get the drivers to work for the life of me.
I would use XP given the choice
a quick google myself reveals this:

so in theory I could plug that into the PC and a wireless mic into the PC and away it goes?
Just looking for a wireless pc mic if anyone knows one?
Hello all,
I have been given a task, so I need some advice!
Is it possible to buy some kind of amp/PA system and plug in a mic and then 3 wireless speakers.
Basically I am looking for a solution so that a person could stand in 1 room and talk to 3 different rooms
Anyone know any suitable...
I have had 2 of these, one was cheap and it was nasty, so I spent money on my next one and the quality is pretty good, it would be fine for most people. I will still probably consider updating my head unit to something I can cable though as I'm fairly picky about my sound quality.
is that with the cable in or out?
default pass for sky routers is: username: admin, password:sky
I'll have a root through my router when I get home as I am with sky too.
you could try going to network and sharing on control panel and check everything on there is switched on.
it sounds like your desktop hasnt networked properly though but im not familiar enough with vista to know why
just try something and see what happens:
stick a file in your shared folder on your laptop, then go on the desktop and go to start>run> then type in \\laptop\shared-folder-name
obviously switch the end of that for whatever you called your folder
and just see if it picks it up
do you know what kind of firewall you have? you will have to find something like an allow list or permissions or something like that and then you will have to add the itunes program to it
alrighty
make a folder on your c drive, give it a name.
Then right click on it and choose properties
on the next menu you should see a tab called sharing
click on share, give it a name again and press add
if you then go start> network and nothing shows up, here is the next thing to try:
go...
there is a few things here I guess:
PS3: what are you trying to do with the PS3? Are you just trying to connect it to the internet? Or do you want to stream music/videos to it from one or both of your computers?
Computers: Funnily enough I have just bought a Vista laptop and it found all the...
Went to Oxford from Chester and back Friday/Saturday, all in one tank too!
Also done Chester to Newquay before, though my mate who sat in the back for that one says he is glad I did my exhaust after that trip!!
is itunes on a computer that has the internet? it should just find stuff itself if so.
If you want to kind of force it right click on any song and click get album artwork - it should then say you need to sign in with your itunes account to get the artwork then there will also be a place to...
can you plug in your PC into the monitor and the TV simultaneously? you could run the PC on the monitor, then extended your desktop onto your TV and adjust the resolution until you find a setting that works
they willl know it's me I think, because we were following each other most of the way from b'ham to M56 where I left, if I remember right the plate was a personal one

is that what you need? you should be able to change the names and prices without buggering it up. You could also add more cables and connections if you wish to tinker with the formulas
if you want to hide all the values once you have set the names and...
I thought that was just ISP's monitoring their own customers and sending them letters because record companies have been moaning:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7522334.stm
I've not seen anything to sway my opinion that ISP's arent going to stop their customers from paying them money...
I don't really understand how this is going to work.
I can't really see them having a loophole way into peoples systems as it opens up too much of a possibility that the hackers find out how to use it and then everyones face will be red
I don't really see the ISP's agreeing to divulge customer...

I was recently in PC world and to be fair I would usually suggest they are overprice but their netbook section (which is what I went to look at myself) was pretty competitive compared to internet prices.
I would suggest you take a look at them if you are going the shop anyway tho, they seem to...
