harbinger 195's or 205's? I try not to do anything other then drive now, had a bad experience in the wet whilst eating a bag of malteasers.
Thanks Scotty I am well chuffed, I've been wanting to leave work and clean it all day.
Cheers for the tip Naith, I would like to get an exhaust and...
Glad to see this thread actually :)
I've owned a 1.2 Clio and a 1.6 Clio both heavier clutches than other cars I've driven and owned, Picked up my 182 the other day and it was much heavier was a little worried but glad to have the clarification. would it defiantly slip first? I had a Fiesta...
25 for me at the minute hope to average 30 so it would be no dearer than what i was spending in the 1.6.
Insurance is cheaper for me on the 182 than it was in the 1.6 so I'm saving money wooohooooo
Cheers Bright I'll have a look at the Hankooks, i'd go for the Pirelli P Zeros, but they're a bit too much for me just yet.
Thanks I nearly picked up the tar remover when in halfords this morning, picked up some wax as the car is getting the full works this weekend :)
So would the subway card...
Thanks guys :) really chuffed now I've spent a bit more time with it, nearly said her :P This is before the really good clean that I'll be doing this weekend so hopefully be even shinier then :)
I'm also on the hunt for tyres, are Yokohama S Drive's any good?
Oh thanks for the aerial...
Thank you Scarble, Leeds_182 and ArcticClio :) Hope to tidy it up and give it a right good clean oh and get my Cliosport.net tax disc holder and rear stickers in place :)
Thanks masked unit :) I shall
Cheers Beasley, Just ordered the badge for £39 and the splitter for £17.
One more question sorry :P Which Ariel would you recommend? quite fancy a shark fin type
Thanks Beasley, so in all I have a full fat 182.
Looking to get the Skoda splitter and debadge replacing the clio badge for the Renault sport one. Can this not be had for less than £40?
Cheers Danny :)
Yeh I noticed the splitter missing, could always source a fabia one I guess.
you say it's cup packed, that both cup packs or one?
I think it has xenons, has cruise control and not sure what else differentiates the two. No idea on the springs.
Hey Guys
I joined the forum a while back with the aim to modify my 1.6 Ph2, I already had a full powerflow exhaust with K&n Panel filter and since there I went for the K&n 57i induction kit and RSTuner remap.
The thing was I saw everyone elses car's on here and that gave me an itch....a huge...
Personally I think it looks really nice with black wheels, bullets and badges, Not true to the trophy fans but nothing wrong in being different.
Congratulations on your purchase.
Looks awesome, I want one the exact same, Wish there was one like this near me that I could buy. Not having much look as all the good examples are down south.
The vin you need when ordering is just the litre/model so yours would be Clio 2 RS CBxx (gas). assuming you are getting a 172/182
The unlocking will take place when you hook up the RStuner to your car and laptop (using the RSTuner software) and generate a code. you then send Henk the code and a...
I saw that one Kermit but didn't view. Mike I viewed the one in Westhoughton, front passenger wheel needs a refurb. Has had a little knock as rear bumper was unclipped on passenger side, above wheel arch. rear brakes looked so old and rusty and interior was dirty (manky steering wheel, shitty...
Cheers, I keep looking but all down south or way up in Scotland :(

I've had my eye on this one, has had everything done that you'd usually need replacing plus has a few tasteful...
Cheers guys, really appreciate the advice.
i'll stay clear this time. Will keep looking. Would love a nice clean example that I know won't eat my full budget.
So really, I should avoid and spend the money on a car that has the FSH and knowing what work has previously been taken out ie cambelt, dephaser.
Here's a few pics

Can the cam belt not be done for cheaper? Tyres where all the same make.
I'm more swaying to think its been looked after properly its clean in and out, the seats are some of the best I've seen. no rips or wear on the bolster and it's been the same owner since new.
I'd imagine this car to sell...
Cheers for the replies
£2695 was the asking price, said he wouldn't budge. Checked all the tyres and pressures seemed fine and with the steering wheel straight both seemed ok and stayed straight when driving.
Maybe due a service and fluids needed doing?
I've never bought a car without FSH. if...
Hi Guys hope this is in the right place.
I've just been looking at a Black Clio 182, 1 owner @ 38,000 Miles
Lovely and clean inside and outside has two scuffs that wouldn't take much to get out.
Bad bit is there is no service history as the car has come from head office and the person has...
Cheers for your input mate. hmmm so really it's not advised to run the white label. I Just can't decide what to do :( I should really be sensible and leave well alone. Still haven't managed to do a video of the induction kit yet. need a clear road, thinking if there is a way to make it quieter...
Ahhhh Don't lol
I've just looked at it again. 170bhp would be great but with this I'd want to know what a white label turbo is and would it be expected to last the life of the car?
would cost about £1100 for the kit but unsure how much it would cost for someone to fit over here.
Like you said...
Zeitgeist: Not updated as only just got my induction kit today. Fitted now though! I thought it would make it a little throatier but.....It's the loudest thing in the world!!!! I really do need to make a video but only have my phone so will have to try it. Need to show you how crazy it sounds...
Did you take the screen shots of the first screen once the tuner is plugged in? Henk needs this info so that he can give you the correct map for your version of car/ecu. without this he can't send it so just double check you did.
Right bit of an update
On the way home give it a bit of gas! Not too much as its dark and very wet :( and my brakes are new so still squishy. From what I can tell low down the only difference is smoother idle and slightly more torque. High revs though and it really does rev faster, car does...
Relieved really as it ran ok when getting in again :) Was hard to test really as traffic was pretty bad. so far can't tell any difference so will have to report back once I've given it a good run.
Hope there is a difference.
I wrote the cal that Henk sent and once completed it auto...
