i usually move over then boot it, seeee ya!

i think redline in 4th would give you a pretty accurate reading, but id be very smooth in your gearchanges to get the figure, as quick changes tend to spike the reading and it comes out high
adi
dont tell me about ABP there the numbskulls that did my torsion bar which probably contributed into me writin mine off
i know a few people whove had trouble wiv em think ged has and col had trouble getin money back off em wen he paid for some lowered springs and they couldnt get em

ive seen a few valvers with fluid on top of the resevoir and mine did it think it just comes out of the breather hole in the top of the cap i wouldnt worry about it
adi
on mine theres a key switch under the glove box as well dunno if that does the immob, also if theres a button on the end of the wiper stalk, that can be used to put a code in to deactivate the immbiliser
if uve got the code of course

id look at the icv first or could be coolant temp sensor
idle control is located at the right hand side of engine bay looking from the front, on front of the inlet manifold next to the throttle body inlet ,thers a pipe off the airbox into the icv then out into the inlet manifold u cant miss...
open boot, remove black plastic screw, pull out light,
pull off bulb holder change bulb and replace light, check bulb ok, tighten screw, shut boot

yeh its exactly like a twin choke carb if you take off the airbox thers a small throttle plate for the first stage and then a big huge one for full hrottle blasts
i let my g/f drive my valver once i had to hold her hand to stop her changing gear early, once shed learnt how 2 drive it properly...
yeh that was a condition of my insurance i had to have a cat 1 alarm fitted

imobilisers can be rated cat 2
alarm/imobilisers can be rated cat 1

adi
hehe yeh were all sound fella u was one of the last people to see it in one piece lol
cant believe uve bought a smart car haha , just dont roll it lol
adi
just an imobiliser will be cat 2 you have to have an alarm/imobiliser for it to be cat 1
my toad cat 1 was 300 quid fitted from GAP , they let u pay half the first month then half the second month and it only took em about 2 hrs to fit it and they come out to you
adi
thought id give me leather a good clean while its out of the car and was well surprised how dirty the seats were
ive been using some turtle wax leather cleaner and conditioner have any of you guys used summat thats been really good

all willys have p/s c/l e.t.c only willy 3s got a sunroof, the airbag was an option and imo looks sh*te
adi
like i said tho its the same willy/valver scenario but the 1.6 and the 1.9 engines really are identical theres no differance whatsoeva in them
i think the engine data plate was swapped to the new engine so unless they stripped the engine theyd never know
bet that lad that bought it was...
i sold my mates 1.6 205 gti which he had put in a 1.9 engine in it to this lad told him it was a 1.6
he wasnt young but said he wanted a 1.6 cos hed got a few points on his licence in the trader ad it just said it was a 205gti so i let him take it thinkin it was a 1.6, its the same scenario...
