power delivery is smooth from 2500 rpm but at 4kish u get a kick as it pulls itself to the limit, u can be going round a corner in second at 15mph and put ya foot down and shoot off, power is there, no waiting for it to get to 4k for it to go.
as for 172, its pretty even, messing about against...
i got the williams 3, use to have a mk1 vtr before this, u will love it may be older but its just miles better car! hadnling is fantastic/power delivery from 2500rpm to limiter(6400), brakes are loads better lol( u should no saxo brakes are shocking) lol

ive got the eagle gsd2 i think, done bout 6k on them still plenty life in them, not really had a problem with them, just will be changing from 185/55/15 to 195/50/15 next time! cheaper lol
whos scared of modding a williams lol, i got coilovers/full exhaust system/decat/braided hoses/cams on way/ecu to be mapped/oh non-standard radio ;) lol
modding the williams isnt a problem as long as there the rite mods!

i run both on my williams, have set of each, cant fault either, only real difference imo is the 195/50s is a little bit more bumpier on same surfaces but has better grip on smooth roads, the 185/55s seem better for back roads having abit more play-ability in them
