yes its not acceptable but as said u dont know the story of what happened, something could of pulled out etc and caused him to skid or could of been driving to fast anyway, they have offered to replace them so thats ok, as jeremy says they could of denyed it altogether!
i got my choice of car to buy down to the williams and a 306gti6, think one of main reasons i got williams was rarer and stands out more to std clio, were as the 306 isnt that much different looking, but great if your after a more stealth fast car! great handling to and a 6th gear lol
because thats the law with storage final maxim, they have to be in a metal cupboard when at dealers etc
but them being able to go off by just dropping them is abit stupid, what about when its in the car and u punch the wheel or go over some serious bumps lol, dont want it exploding do ya!
it could be the clip for the diff, if u take n/s driveshaft out u will see it usualy lose drive it ifs snapped
