Mk 2's don't have a torsion bar mate. only mk1's

im on 31k no probs in my 1.4.... harry manback in his 1.4 has got 91k on it. had a couple of problems. I believe they were diagnosed wrong and it was actually the gearbox chafing on the loom lol

You shouldn't have a problem at all. Dutty had 17's when he had 60mm springs and ive got 16's with fairly big profile tires on lowered 60mm on G-Max. never get any rubbing even with a full load of people. it will be fine mate.

i don't think it will work mate. I believe the shock is shorter.... or the stroke of the shock is anyway.

if you grind down the mounts the RS bumper Bends to fit.. Dutty_112 has done it and it looks perfect. However if your going to do it the proper way just fit the rs wings and it fits perfectly. You also need to fit side skirts but most people fit a set of aftermarket ones anyway. You will need...

in my mk2 ph2 when i start the car (the stereo comes on automatically) it makes this horrible clicking noise for a few seconds.... the colder it is outside the longer it does it for.... anyone else have this?

mine was fitted by autoglass. The replacement refelctive screen with rain sensor on mine was a blue tint instead of the factor purple tint. Actually looks a lot better. AG did a really good job of fitting it. The fitting of the seals is actually better than when it was done at the factory.
