In my Vauxhall club days, we used to have a weekend event at Billing Aquadrome. That for me used to be the best event of the show season. Beer, bbq, mates and cars. Just good to get together with likeminded people.
A 129 is a direct replacement for a 089 mate, so it’ll take the shafts. The only difference between the 129 and 089 is the final drive ratio is different on the 089.

@KitsonRis I looked in the garage loft, and I have a plug for the ph2 throttle body. However, it’s damaged and won’t stay connected. As you can see in the image:
However, there’s the part number clearly visible - explains why it’s broken as it’s an Audi item. Lol!
