can you buy them in singles? I'm assuming I just need the one for that side?
Just seen on Pure website these in Single http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=126&model=-1 would this be the one I'm after, I'll email pure I think just too be sure.
Had the dog bone mount replied with a power flex one last week, today I took it over too Bloke and diagnosed I need track rods and ends (drivers side but may do both) and after that went home stripped drivers door down as my glass had stopped working found the little motor had come out of the...
Can you just use a longer length of tube and point towards the brakes instead of the deflector plate? I can make a plate if need be just wondering if it's more direct with the tube pointing directly at the brake instead of the plate deflecting it randomly.
Are they worth it and what's the benefits? I'm thinking of having mine done when I have the track rods/ends done in the next couple of weeks. Mainly a track car but if the standard rubber ones are good enough I may spend the £100 that the bushes cost on something that I would benefit from...
I had my car set up a while back at Blink and I needed some rear shims too sort out the toe but I'm looking for shims and don't want too buy the wrong ones. Below is my printout I was given and as you can see the rear toe on one side is out or in lol so I'm going too have it redone soon as I'm...
Welcome mate. I have a 172 Cup which I've had for about 6-8 months now and just started doing track days and really enjoy it car has not let me down yet after 3 hard days at Oulton Park, although I think I have a wheel bearing on its way out. You'll love em especially for the money I don't think...
well unless you have dual controls i cant see how it being in a cast having an effect on her supervising. I would have no problem going out if it was me (but i cant give you points or fine)
Anyone run the 888 with GGG on the rear and GG on the front? Seen some for sale but 2 are GGG and the other are GG. Assume soft go on the rear as less weigh less heat and wear and Medium go on the front? Just thinking about buying them but not sure with the mixed compounds.
Cheers.
@Mini182 has some for sale I think he still has anyway and they are machined already if it's any help.

Not that I know what I'm doing lol but when I was looking at replacing my calipers I was told too start with the caliper furthest away from the brake fluid filler (reservoir?).. like passenger rear, drivers read, passenger front and finish with drivers front.
Just my 2 pence.

Yeah just click on my name should be able to start a conversation that way. Not sure if you have too be a member which is well worth it (only cost about £10) as you get access top guides and the for sale section.
I'm near Liverpool but if you want too cover postage I can throw them in a box and send them tomorrow (if I can find them that is lol) they aren't very big so can't see them being much too post. If you get stuck let me know and I'll have a look anyway too see if I have them.
Where abouts are you @Dave_172_Clio _Sport I think I have a spare set of carriers in the shed at home (in work at the minute though so can check when I get home)
Anyone know what size the hole is where the brake line attaches on 172 calipers I want to spray mine in the next few days and was going to just put a bolt in the hole to make sure no paint gets in and somewhere to hold them up with some wire while I spray. (Not being lazy lol I'm at work and...
Did you get these @imprezaworks I'm thinking of trying a set as MY AD08R on my spare set of wheels are nearly done and these Maragoni are pretty cheap. What were they like on your Clio? And are they any good (must be ok if they use them as the control tyre in the BMW cup) @Stu172cup don't you...
Mine is like tin foil and worn through in some places and was forever having to lift it back into place at Oulton the other day and noticed it a few times before this, is it easy to replace or what can i use too hold it back out the way as every time i push it back it just falls down again.
@dann2707 I Believe the gearbox washer is copper crush and not a dowty like the engine sump (although I am told you could use them) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Copper-Sump-Plug-Washer-Suitable-for-Most-Renault-Vehicles-/261751931636?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cf1a182f4 like this one...
Jumped in the car too go for a quick drive after been at Oulton on Wednesday and parking it up when I came home not touched it since (had NO issues at Oulton all day) got about 1/4 mile down the road only going slow as car was cold and it's raining and all of a sudden dash seemed too power down...
Just don't pull the drive shaft out all the way and you'll lose no oil, I didn't when I did my passenger side boot and I pulled the drive shaft out just not all the way luckily.
@Leo182 I went the motor factors and got a proper boot clip was about 50p and used that when i had too do a CV boot the night before my track day think the boot kit is about £8-9 and you get new boot, grease and clips, luckily the motor factors was open till 5:30. Where abouts you based it is...
