erm.... the pistons need tickling with a milling machine, is what it sounds like to me, ohhh and dont let them near your engine again sound like cowboys
i cant get over how epicly rapid this is, and all the work is to a standard i would stamp with my quality seal :D

remove two bolts at either end of slam pannel
loosen two at front (back of front crossmember)
lift slam panel out of way
unclip fan connector and temp sensor
undo hoses
lift rad out
swap fan to alloy rad
reverse steps should about cover it :D

driveshaft might need rebuiling, if the knuckles have come to pieces
will be drivable then

tyre is probabally more urgent like but if it holds air could risk it for a few week till funds allow
we have had exactly the same happen on the rally car, did a stage with weird camber/toe out. put the car on jacks, no disk left and pulled wheel off :S when these bearings fail they go propper
tried the movement on it, as every driveshaft i have seen slides and ajusts length, this one might of had a replacement gaitor and this is holding it at a different length
