Now that most UK networks sell the iPhone I would like Apple to sell the new handset as a sim-free device rather than a PAYG version per network, this would surely make more sense now if paying full rrp for it.

I think so but I get a dodgy signal on much of my journey so manual updating is usually preferred. I'll use the Engadget app.

+1 I will be updating it constantly on my 3GS during my train journey home.

Not sure if 4.0 will go public today, more likely that developers will get the GM build and be told to now submit 4.0 ready apps for approval.

I considered using o2 and then I read the t&c's and was slightly put off. They seem to indicate that the value you actually receive will fall drastically if the handset is anything other than in immaculate condition. I've used Mazuma in the past so will either get £227 from them for my 3GS or...

The vid will usually appear between 11pm and midnight.

Maps has had that feature for a long time.

Add iPlayer as a bookmark to the homescreen and the address bar will disappear if accessed via that.

It's a giant iPhone with a terrible OS not optimised for touch!! :D

You have bought it in good faith so you will not get into trouble but they will clarify for you if the handset or the IMEI it is displaying has any issues.

That all sounds very dodgy. I very nearly purchased something from the same place last week, well I'm guessing it was the same place.

I would not waste £319 on a JooJoo, there will be much better Android OS tablets available soon.

Spend the cash on a iPad instead rather than making a switch from MB to MBP.

I prefer TomTom over all others but for £5 you can't go wrong with N-Drive.

o2 do appear to receive a regular supply of Desire's so they should not be out of stock for long.
