Shmee is a bit of a tool but, if you watch his interview with Jonny Smith on The Late Brake Show channel, he actually comes across pretty well. What he's doing is an act as part of his brand, while I suspect that LLF is a bellend all the time.
I really don't see what people get from these...
Definitely not as bad as that DMO cretin, but still unwatchable. The world would be a better place if the pair of them had their collars felt.
He's obviously enthusiastic but, like most YouTubers, he doesn't actually seem to know very much about cars. Some people clearly like what he's doing...
I'd probably leave the 133 engine in there,as you've put some bits into it already. I'd focus on getting the car as light as possible to begin with. Cut off everything 😂
I really don't understand all this sub-brand nonsense. Total waste of time and money. Does anyone care that a Leon Cupra is now a Cupra Leon, or that a Mégane Renault Sport will be an Alpine Mégane? I fully expect it will all be ditched in the future.
Exactly this.
If you want more induction noise, fit the fatty kit I suggested above, as it's the cheapest. If you want something that looks fancy too, buy one of the more expensive ones.
It's swings and roundabouts really in my view. Bolt-on ones are more convenient, as you don't have to faff about lining the spacer and wheels up with the bolt holes, but you could also argue that they're worse, as you effectively have twice as many wheel nuts/bolts that could potentially come...
Some folk definitely get wound up spacers. So long as they're decent quality, fitted properly, and aren't ridiculously large, then they're fine.
Plenty of competition cars run them and they take way more abuse than road cars.
19mm hubcentric will be absolutely fine.

Plus a matching cone filter and you're done.
The Fatty induction kit is the best one in my view. Sounds really good and is cheap. Basically, buy a 90 degree alloy bend off eBay, and a matching Ram Air filter, and put it in. Can't remember the pipe diameter you need, but I'm sure someone will know.
For about £40, you can't go wrong. If...
Some spots while working today.
TVR Cerbera and Corrado VR6 at one house:
Giulia Quadrifolio and Aston DBS at another:
Their neighbour had one of those wide-arch Abarths with the adjustable rear spoiler too:
Not seen this before, so just had a read through from the start. I'm not really much on the whole camper thing, but it does look quite fun converting a van like that. Colour/wheel combo looks great. Got to bang that vRS engine in it though for sure.
People always slated these but I knew a couple of people that had GSIs and they were pretty good at the time. Looked decent, went pretty well, and the V6 sounded lovely.
Saw this while working the other day. Was looking a bit sorry - damage to the rear bumper, rust on the rear arch and a lot of sun damage to the carbon bits.
