My 182 has climate and I've not got the sensor plugged in and it still works fine. Have you tested it since plugging back in?

Be careful as the braking force will be split 50:50 between the front and rear so if you brake hard there is a high chance rear will lock up before the front.

Right, this is from a non climate car but the connector is in the same place. Unplug the bit circled green and check the voltage there.
