Settings/ General/ About/ Version will tell you what firmware you are using.
There is a JB out for 3.1.3, but that only allows you to load themes and apps (amongst other things). An unlock is something separate and the last supported firmware was 3.1.2.
4.0 is not rumoured to be released...
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Con all the way, they can't do it.
If you phone is running 3.1.2 you can unlock it with a jailbreak. If it is on 3.1.3, then you will (probably) have to wait until 4.0 in the summer before anybody releases a JB unlock.
My 70-200 has just arrived today. Can't wait to get out and about with it after having nothing longer than 105 for over a year. A big white lens is a bit trickier to get candid shots with though surely? ;)
Have you got a USB case you can use with it? I had a disc with windows vista on it, and windows 7 would not even recognise it through sata unless I changed from AHCI to IDE. I used USB instead and had full access.
We have had to block access to one of the news sites for our staff working on thin clients. The Citrix servers cannot handle the load caused by some of the flash elements on the pages, so yes, flash really can put a load on the system.
It's the weight of the thing that really kills it. For that range you would expect to use it as a walk around, but it is close to 2KGs. Sod carrying that anywhere!
Mine are shocking, looking through the viewfinder at 300mm and I just see it wobbling all over the shop. I'm still waiting for the 70-200, which apparently has awesome IS so should save me. :)
Granted... it depends on what you are shooting. A moving subect does not require so much IS. Static birds at 500mm would require a tripod, the hands of a sniper or just a fast shutter.
Looks like great fun. Are you using a full studio set up or just some off camera flash?
I really want to try my hand at some studio work, but don't really want to spend £££ on something that I may not use much.
and LOL at their Engrish.

Same as my sister. She was panicked that Apple might see that she is doing something naughty or something and wanted to put it back to normal. I think my list of Cydia apps to install freaked her out. :D
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
Flickstakr - for the Flickr users here. Its much better than the official app, with support for groups etc.
Bullseye - good way of passing some time while sat on the loo
VLC remote - control your VLC player on the PC.
