If I could start again, I'd probably go for Nikon too, but I can get better quality for my money with Canon than I can with Nikon, so I'll stay where I am.
Plus I like white lenses. ;)
I came home the other day to find that my 1 year old had been hitting the TV with one of his toys. There are actually a couple of marks that will not come off the screen. I can't really shout at my mother in law either as she looks after the kids three days a week for free.

Pity. I have used it to map my media keys (mute, play etc) to launch other programs (nircmd to hide a firefox window at the touch of a button has saved me a couple of times at work!).

I have repaired a couple of laptops with the same problem. Blowing air is not enough, have you actually opened the case and taken the cooling fan out? On all of the laptops I opened, there was a solid layer of fluff between the heatsink and the cooling fan. Blasting air through it did not shift...
Sounds like you are not metering correctly. If you want a decent exposure of the sky, then meter off the sky, if you want the foreground, then you will blow out the sky. As most of the picture above is of the foreground, with little sky, the camera will have automatically calculated the exposure...
There is also a simplified handbrake (based on the handbrake source) called vidcoder. It makes things really simple for the people who can't manage handbrake.
You will have to extract the file first before trying to find it in iTunes. If you open one of the .rar files with winzip then it will extract the contents from all and make one file for you.

You will need to use WINRAR or 7Zip (free) to extract the IPSW file. Then you just shift click restore in iTunes and point it to the new file.

You can only install firmware older than 3.1.3 if your phone has SHSH stored with Cydia, otherwise the Apple servers will only authorise the current firmware.
