I have some IPA, but to be honest with you I was going to give it a quick lick with Final Finish and then use Carlack or Klasse as I have loads of it.
Wonder if anyone has used it over SRP ?
Neither!
Megs Endurance loves to splatter, and attracts dust like no other.
AG Tyre Dressing looks ace on initial application but lasts minutes, I use it for show use only.
Look into Blackfire Long Lasting Gel or Poorboys Bold and Bright.
I have not found any anti static Carnauba's, they all seems to attract dust for me. I bet I still end up topping the Z though!
Cheers for the Z-8 tip - do you do decant it into a separate spray bottle ? How much do you dilute it down by ?
Cheers

I am not finding the time to do much cleaning at the moment so I am thinking/hoping this may be the key if all it needs to maintain it is a wash and QD.
I have taken the Plunge - placed my order last night.
Only the finishing kit Z-2 Pro, Z-6 and Z-8 and some Z-7 shampoo. Don't know when I will find time to use it though.
Problem with a Rotary is being able to get a perfect finish with one, neighbour came round complaining about the buffer trails that had been left in his bonnet by a local bodyshop. Starting out a Random Orbit machine will get a better finish.
If you going to take it to the local valeters having swirl removal done is probably as waste of cash then, may has well keep the amount of clearcoat it has on it now and get it de-swirled before you sell it.
If you can set aside time to wash it yourself then I would pay the money and get it...
There will not be one preferred choice of brand you will find most people mix and match.
I apply most products with those cheap yellow foam hand pads and remove with microfiber.

Ideally the best action is not to wash the car in direct bright sunlight when it is warm.
If you have to - Move the car round so you have the evens just part in the shade and wash the car in sections, drying them as you go before moving onto the next bit, rather then do the whole car.
Also...
SRP is a mild polish and has a light cut to it.
Reason for using a sealant is as a rule they are more durable than a wax, but tend to lack the warm rich look a proper wax will give, hence why people use both.
Wash, dry, use a quick detail spray and then build up layers of wax. I only polish...
I clay once or twice a year depends on where you park. Using it means the need to start again and polish and seal after.
As to how often to wax depends on the durability of the wax - I wax once a month or so.
As for removing tar, shearing it off with Clay is not the best way, get a decent tar...
