I had it on my 3GS and after doing some googling and seeing other people with the same problem, entered my own number in the phone and it worked. Settings > Phone > My Number Are you with O2 or is it hacked to another network?

I am having the same with the iPhone app. Facebook problems then.

The current prices of the 30D should be an indication of what the 40D will be after the release of the 7D I guess. Plus, it will probably be a buyers market as it will be flooded with people who want to upgrade to the 7D after a 30/40/50. (IMHO!)

Yep, I can live with the sound but running and constantly sticking earphones back in drives me nuts. I can go out cycling or jogging and not have to touch these once. You know they are not great when the standard iPhone earphones sound better than the replacements though.

How do you find the sound on them? Mine have zero bass. They stay in your ear well though.

Wait for the 7D to come out and 40D and 50D prices should take a tumble. The 500 gets good reviews but I would want to jump to the xxD series if I was upgrading.

Dirt is awesome, Grid is also fun, either with pad or wheel. Race 07/ GTR evolution for sims. G25 is the only way to play. ;)

Have a look at what you can find 2nd hand. There are sometimes bargains to be had and glass generally holds its value well so you can always sell it on and try something else without loosing money in the process.

Definitely big enough to be an image then. You could try opening them in photoshop or on another PC but aside from that, I am out of suggestions.

Corrupt files perhaps? What size is one jpg file?

D90 definitely beats the 5D for sports I would have thought. Image quality from a FF sensor is supposed to be very good though.

Loss of colours and sharpness. I can't see the difference on half if the threads on POTN but even this one was blindingly obvious to me. You might be lucky and get decent quality for £10 but I would guess not.

If you are spending out on L series glass, don't waste it by putting cheap filters on the front. I got a cheap filter with a second hand lens I bought and there is a noticeable difference between that and my B&W.

Handbrake will do it for you. It has a preset for the xbox 360 by the look of it. Its free too.

I didn't think you were a fan of the Canon range? D90 would get my vote. It is a level above the rest IMHO.

I still can't decide between this and the 5. The 7 has so many features above the 5 that it is hard to justify the extra cash just for FF and slightly better IQ when printing a 50 foot billboard.
