As above if you have polished well with a decent finishing polish a glaze may add little or nothing to the looks.
It can add a deeper wetter look to the paint and hide some defects on not so perfect paint.
Is that all ?
As you know a sealant on the paint is nothing in in the scheme of what you need to do to win trophies.
But you just admitted all that info was new to you - speak to your Autoglym rep more !
No cure time, or time needed to add additional layers like EGP (12-24 hours between costs).
I can do three coats of it in the time it would take to apply and remove one of EGP.
Durable too, one coats over a coat of SRP lasts a good 3 months on my 306.
I am using my 5 litres of EGP slowly...
Get one SRP layer on when you get a chance then build up layers of this:

Like EGP in a spray and wipe form, whole car can be done in 10.
I have weighed both up white and graphite, both will look good on it (similar colour to your Valver) and I am not dismissing Silver either. I have the option to try them in White, and Silver (be it in another style) before I buy !
Clio Badge just pulls off.
Either be care full round the R/Sport ones (just trim taped on), though if you run over them with a polishing or finishing pad you will just clean them up nicely anyway, but would need to spend some time cleaning the residue out of the gaps - I tended to tape them up.
You really are a geek!
Autoglym Super Resin and then the Extra Gloss Protection.
Though if you fancy spending some money gets some Poorboys Wheel Sealant as it will be easier to use than the EGP ( and it;s pink ;) )
The Aquawax would be ok to use after washing to top up the protection.
