422 and 423 just need springs, but due to the lift+duration you need pistons with cut outs. 420,421 and 428 use std parts. 551,2,3 need springs plus solid lifters (or at something extra anyway).
I thought it was interesting that the 197 profiles are different even with out VVT...

Clearly says no bar should be fitted.
When I took my 172 cup for its first MoT when it was 3 years old, Renault were just as useless.
Firstly they said it needed new calipers. Then a new compensator as the bar was missing. In the end when they'd had another in with the same issue. They realised that was how they were supposed to...

Thanks for the offer Mick. I bought it second hand and it came with a loom so hopefully it won't need much work...
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Bodies, ditch std electrics, wrap plus various other minor bits.
When I built it originally I did the minimum needed to comply with the MSA safety regs for racing. Now I'm making it a bit more race focused.
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Looks good Ollie. I actually managed to tidy my garage to the point where the car now no longer stops me opening my tool box lol. Hoping to make some progress now...
