BMW are seriously trying to ruin them selves.

I'm sorry, but I dont think that there will ever be many people in the world who will say that they like the looks of the X6! People only buy them to have the newest Chelsea tractor on the local school run, IMHO.

    Old Italian shed

I went to one of the local circuit days and they had the Lancia club there with 20 of these flying around the track. They sound amazing at full chat.

If our balls are missing is it a fail?

I dont know the part number but it is only a 15 minute job to replace them yourself and I dont think it cost more than a tenner for the part.

    Tips for model photography

Lighting is one of the most important parts of the shots as well as the poses. Definitely worth reading up on in advance. Lull her into a false sense of security before going in for the "special" shots which you can then post on here. ;)

    Anyone start a 365 today?

Haha, I guess it becomes an obsession when you have to do it daily. The dice shot is nicely done too. I'll send you the lightbox over, its flat packed as I dropped my bike on it the other day....

    Indoor Shooting...

Short of sorting out some extra internal lighting/ flash(es) I dont see how you could expose the room correctly without blowing out the windows TBH. The only other option would be to bracket the exposures and do some PP in photoshop but that could be a fair amount of work depending on the...

    Windows Media player dvd codec?

CCCP codec pack seems pretty good but I dont know if that allows you to watch DVD's or else use the VLC player.

    Ice hockey

Really tough conditions to get good shots in. I really like the shot with the refs helmet too. Most people who shoot indoor sports use a minimum of a f2,8 lens, aside from buying faster glass or the use of a powerful flash if you weren't behind the perspex, I wouldn't know what to recommend...

Logitech G25 owners - how many have we got on here?

Might have to borrow it again and give it another shot. I loved the idea but the lap times were shocking. lol

    anybody use a grip?

The grip was not about the battery life for me. I am just using the one. The 40D can take so many shots that I have never needed to recharge halfway or think about buying a 2nd battery. Ergonomics are the big improvement for me, it also does not weigh much at all, despite how it looks.

Logitech G25 owners - how many have we got on here?

Tried one but could not actually get used to it. Colin Mcrae Dirt was more a game of pinball with the car bouncing off the side rather than a driving game.

    anybody use a grip?

W00t! Just arrived and I love it. Makes the camera nicer to hold, especially with a heavy lens on the front. The portrait shooting is also nice. Should have just bought a 1DIII to start with TBH.
