wireless USB stick is probably the cheapest option. They are cheap as chips these days.
Not sure of where the best shops in the UK are for computer hardware so will let somebody else give you some more useful info.
I have just tried something which seems to have worked:
Create a new profile, or use the admin one, and log in with that one instead. I have been using it all morning without a problem.
You will then have to copy all your files over from one profile to the other etc but it does seem to solve...
Strange, I have the Inspiron 6000 and it has recently picked up the same problem. I have just put a new modem on the router so I thought that it may be related to that.
I will let you know if I manage to solve it, it makes streaming films around the house a bit irritating!
Top one looks over exposed to me. Second one has a blown out sky but the car is slightly under exposed.
From the sky, it looks like you were shooting towards the sun in the second pic, that wont have helped the cameras metering. Try and reposition yourself to have the sun behind you.

I think it might be a combination of white balance and exposure which need to be corrected.
I had a quick play in photoshop with the exposure and colours and did this (hope you don't mind?). Its not perfect but does make it shine a bit more IMHO. :
they look under exposed to me, but i am on my mobile. :-) the large space will trick the camera into under exposing the shot so have a play in photoshop or lightroom and bump up the exposure if you shot in raw.
Good effort, try using a large sheet or paper coming down on a gentle slope from the back. That way you wont have the horizon line in the background.
