    Which Springs

Since when do Prolines raise the car over standard? I've had prolines for years and my car is definitely not a monster truck, when they went on they were slightly lower than standard, then after a couple of months they settled down to the height they are now, it's not slammed on it's arse but...

    Gone Retro... Sort of!

    Gone Retro... Sort of!

How if you declare it? I see loads of Subaru's with the 555 livery, I also regularly see a local Celica with this livery and a number.

    Changing inlet manifold cost

As part of a set of breathing mods such as induction, inlets, remap & exhaust you will see gains, but as a stand alone mod it's not worth it.

    Changing inlet manifold cost

The top one's easy, i've never taken the bottom one off so couldn't comment on that, although from what people have said removing the injectors isn't that hard either.

    Variations of Anthracite

Tbh i've never been looked at in the dog kennel either, except when I got pulled over for speeding, but I was f*cking booting it so that was fair enough, they said they had to hoof the X5 they were using to catch me up. lol

    Variations of Anthracite

Do you ever get looked at by the old bill, or do you all have each others plates on a secret list of cars to be left alone? Also is that license plate font legal?

FAO CS Insurers - Can you beat this?

I think it's more to do with the fact you live in Mordor where there are no roads and you have the only car.

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

It is indeed : 'Ford has a shed. It's an unassuming building hiding in deepest Essex, UK. Within its rickety walls lies a myriad of stunning vehicles. Some aren't what they seem to be, some are legends, some show transport's evolution and some are downright awesome. We had the chance to have a...

    ptfe inlet manifold gasket advice

On their own i'm not so sure, but as a package of induction, matched inlets, decent exhaust and remap, you will have optimised what the car has and definitely feel the difference.

    ptfe inlet manifold gasket advice

I can't say i've ever measured the thickness of mine, but they look exactly like mine mate.

    ptfe inlet manifold gasket advice

Well for the extra 12 quid they won't ever have to be replaced.

    ptfe inlet manifold gasket advice

Well the main advantage of ptfe (other than not absorbing heat) is they don't get all bent and distorted when removing and refitting the inlets, whereas the metal ones can leak a little when they get distorted, but they're not exactly expensive so it's personal choice really. Glad you managed...

    ptfe inlet manifold gasket advice

I've got ptfe gaskets on mine as they came as part of the matched inlet package, you buying those matched inlets or going with the standard RS ones?

    Roadkill

Finally the new season has started, in this one they take a boat with no engine to the lake, put the muscle trucks engine in it, blast around the lake for a day, then put the muscle truck's engine back in so they can go home, I can't believe this is what they get paid for, I f*cked up somewhere...

    Oil leak?

You may have noticed the sump tray is full of padded foam, Renault honestly put that there to soak up any oil leaks, they knew these things leaked like sieves and that was their solution. lol

    Oil leak?

Ok i'm going to name some of the places these things leak from: Sump gasket (all round) Sump plug Gearbox selector shaft seal Rocker cover (all round) Rocker cover bolts (any of them) Should keep you busy for a while.

    Oil leak?

Everywhere tbh, bit if it's in the wheel arch i'd be checking the drive shaft gaiter first.
