172 cup hub is same as all other 172s and 182 without cup/cup packs. The forsale section or renparts maybe if you're in a rush. Or helicoil it.

Before changing the uch I'd check every earth has a good connection. There are 4 or so under the dash, 2 at the rear and several in the engine bay. I recently had a problem where wipers were always on, turned out to be an earth issue.

Running a tap through my hub to clean out 10 years of crap sorted mine out.

The sheath the dip stick slides into has snapped off at the block. Can I get it out without removing the sump? There is nothing proud of the block. I assume I can get a new one from Renault?

IIRC My std 172 exhaust made 68dB, my ktec steath twin box system made 86dB and with sports cat it make 89dB. ​

I'd suggest giving Paul at RS Tuning a call about the std ecu with the cams. ​People used to say it couldn't be done with 421s and now it seems to be no problem so you never know.
