these are the ones on ktec, just had a look at all the 182 exhausts though and i dont know how quiet they are. they do ones with center and rear silencers though which cant be to loud, somewhere close to standard with a little bit more noise...
bought this for £1200 :) needs the belts doing but other than that it is mint. got a few things done to it, phase 2 rear conversion with cup spoiler.
aint had it long but i love this car
only have a few photos my mate took the other night, i will get some proper ones soon
alright cheers guys, just wanted some opinions to help make my mind up. ill see if i can use a work van or something and try avoiding using the car till its done
yeah i know. just wondered if i should not use it, is it renault that say change every 5 years ? if so then i guess thats them being cautious really so i should be alright for a while
ok, been 5 years since cambelt was last change. was done halfway through 2006
i need to do a fairly large trip this weekend, will the car be alright for bit ? its due to be done in the next 2 weeks or so. i only just got the car, really dont want the cambelt to go just before its due to get...
yozza you get off fred on here from the traders section. think you might need to pay membership to see it
i would get the phase 1 172 airbox for your car, think im right in thinking there a lot better than the phase 1 ones. either that or after market.
how much do you want to spend on...
looking real nice mate, cup spoiler looks alot better :) guess i should get some photos up of my ph1, got the cup spoiler on that, looks real smart
i love your alloys, me want
very much doubt they will fit. was swapping wheels around on my 172 and 1.2 and steelies that where in the garage. for a laugh i tried putting the steelies on the 172. they didnt clear the front brakes.
there may be some steelies around that are the right shape to get over the brakes but you...
150! dont got there lol. swapped coilovers back to standard suspension on my car today, took maybe 45 minutes.
where are you ? oh and a lot of garages can come and pick your car up for you if need be, either that or drop it outside in the evening and put keys through letter box for them
tappets is the noise probably mate, my old 1.2 made a right racket. ran fine though, 135K on the clock.
dont know about the best oil for them though sorry
not sure to be honest mate, i presume they were just cheaply made and didnt last long. yeah there are some real bad stories, worth getting it sorted for peace of mind
i would get a new headunit then upgrade your speakers mate, standard ones arent great. ive got alpine ones in mine and i am impressed for how cheap they are
only going to be a quick tack to hold the bracket back together, would of thought it would be ok ? not as if it will be continuous heat on the main box itself. either that or ill cold weld it with some sort of mastic type thing
