    removing paint form paintwork....

I have always had more luck with some polish than clay. Something with some chemical cleaner such as AG SRP or Klasse All in One normally works well.

    Brake caliper paint?

I used to give them a quick coat each each to freshen them up, all they needed was a wipe down to come back up clean though.

    Brake caliper paint?

Hubs and shields where done with Hammerite Smooth silver.

    Brake caliper paint?

Hammerite smooth is fine - they do 2 gold Hammered finished Gold or Smooth Finish Gold - the later is quite subtle and matches the gold some calipers come from the factory.

    Best wax/polish for fresh paint?

With you, chances are it will have been wet flatted and polished after he had painted it. Is he testing at Combe at the weekend? One of the Glazes I mentioned above will make the paint look ace for pictures.

    Wax

Any of the above are fine if used over a sealant, stand alone they are not that durable. P21s does look good though.

    Best wax/polish for fresh paint?

AG SRP is not a good choice for the first few weeks as it contains protective qualities. Definitely no polishing by Mr Kift ? very rare to see a prefect gloss and finish straight out the gun, but I could be wrong on that one. Polishing itself is not a problem, waxing and sealants are where you...

    Cleaning n00b Kit

With what you have you don't need to add much. The Autoglym Pair will work well on the paintwork, top that with a wax that looks good on Blue and you will be good. I like P21s on Blue, easy to use, not mega durable but the EGP under it will see to that. A decent shampoo in Bulk that will last...

    dose laquer matter??

Metallic Paints are painted in 2 parts, the metallic base coat and then a clear lacquer to give it gloss. Solid colours can be painted as above with a base coat and then a clearcoat lacquer. They also can be painted in a soild single stage colour that is stand alone and can be polished to give...

    big decision. (lens)

Used it a fair bit on the 70-200 until I got the 300mm, worked well. Used it a few times on the 300 as well, nice added reach.

    dose laquer matter??

Depends on the paint colour. Flat colours such as Red and Blacks for example don't need lacquer i they are a single stage paint.. Metallic Colours do.

Some where nice and clean to keep the cup

The ex's neighbours had one, made fitting a exhaust on her Raider a breeze. Get the four poster in there and extend the roof then ;)

tbh a pit would make sense for you, spraying silver paint would be so much easier. Get digging.

    big decision. (lens)

I got a 70-200 be it a Canon and then soon added a 1.4X, but doing mostly m/sport work I soon added a 300mm prime to it, would not be without either though.

Where/What Snow Foam to buy and how to use it ? And how to use clay ?

Snow foam works and clings better to a dry car. Apply the snow foam, let dwell, rinse and then bucket wash. I would then rinse, use tar remover as needed and then clay using soap and water while the car is still wet. 2-4 of capfuls of car shampoo in a 500ml spray bottle is fine, I also re wet...

SRP is an amazing Polish for the money

You could but then you still have to allow it to cure/dry before removal. The Jeffs, you spray and buff it off straight away.
